Further services: Cranio-sacral therapy
The cranio-sacral therapy is based on the principle that the rhythmic pulsations of brain and spinal fluid, also called primary breathing mechanism, are transferred to outer tissue and bones and hence are palpable. The separate bones of the scull are movable against each other also in adults, which can result in restricted function or illnesses if a displacement has occurred.
By touch of the body the therapist collects information about possible blockages of this movement, and can directly influence any restriction in function, as well as influence indirectly the membranes of the scull and the hard meninges.
By using this therapy, there can be achieved an improvement in energy flow, activation of self-healing abilities as well as a removal of functional restrictions.
